Once installed, you can unlock your door via Bluetooth with your phone or Apple Watch. SwitchBot only attaches to the thumb turn on the inside of your door, so installation is quick, and your get to keep your own keys. The SwitchBot won’t wow you with locking features like those you’ll find in other options, but it stands out in its own right. If you encounter a situation where the batteries are dead, an emergency USB-C charger located on the bottom of the lock can power the lock for you to still get back inside.
