The Admin and the others who share the group are all listed in the group’s Sharing tab on, found under My Snippets in the sidebar-click a Snippet group to see the Sharing tab. See a breakdown of all your currently active Members. To get a better Snippet or Group breakdown, you can Export your report for manual discovery. Sort the report table to quickly see the top Snippets used across all your Members as well as top Snippet Groups. If you want to export a group that is Read Only for you, check with one of the TextExpander group’s admin. Dig into specific Snippet usage in the Snippets report. You can only export groups for which you have Edit access. Click the download icon in the Download column.Both Numbers and Excel automatically do this for you when exporting in CSV format. If your abbreviation, Snippet content, or label already contains quotation marks, you double them, so “Leslie” becomes “”Leslie””. For example, here’s a multi-line snippet with an abbreviation of ‘sigsales’: sigsales, "Cheers, Open the TextExpander App and select the Snippet Group you’d like your new Snippet in, then select New Snippet Underneath Content Type select the Content: menu. All you have to do is enclose such lines in quotation marks (“). Let’s say you have a snippet that spans multiple lines. You can export that from Numbers or Excel in CSV format, and then you can import the resulting file into TextExpander. Create a spreadsheet with your snippet abbreviations in the first column and snippet content in the second column. If you want to make a CSV file from a list of shortcuts you have, you can use Excel or Numbers. supports importing TextExpander files (.textexpander) and comma-separated value (.csv) files.
